My Christmas with the "Rise of the Guardians"

Finally am happy to have watched this Movie, “Rise of the Guardians” on Christmas evening. It really made me feel very happy. This is the best movie out of all those that were released in December (Far better than Needhane en Ponvasantham and kumki). The best part was I watched this alone, in Sathyam Cinemas. The theater was mostly filled with kids, teenagers and few “still kids” like me. I had never seen the whole theater cheer unanimously; there were claps, laughs, giggles from almost everyone present in the theater. Everything in this movie was just wonderful; from Animation, Character sketches to the story line.

The story is about how the Guardians (Santa Clause, Tooth fairy, Sandman, Easter Bunny and the hero Jack Frost) fight Pitches to save Childhood.

The introduction scene of Jack Frost was like seeing me on screen. I felt surprised, when Jack asked the same questions to the moon which I had in mind. And it was really nice to see Jack finding his “Center” which was “to have fun”. I found my center too, “Childishness” just like Santa’s. I really want to watch this movie again. I wish I get tickets for this for The New Year so tha my sister would also enjoy it.

"Rise of Guardians" also had some moral lines; to find “one’s center” and to not give up fighting fear. One’s hope and belief is enough to ward away fear and darkness from one’s hearts. I really felt better after watching this movie since I was almost gloomy for past 2 weeks. When I came out of the theater I really had my cheer, faith and hope back. I had smiled to myself and made a silent vow to keep that smile forever for what-so-ever may happen. J This Christmas had really been a “Merry Christmas” for me. J
